Starting with the 1st of June 2013, Travel Communication Romania has taken over the Public Relation activity of Happy Tour – the largest travel agency in Romania by turnover.
Happy Tour is a travel agency of Happy Tour Group which belongs to the GED Capital spanish investment fund.
In Romania, GED Capital has acquired several companies in the tourism industry, all of them reunited under the Happy Tour Group brand. The group also includes Prestige Tours tour operator, Paravion.ro website and Travel House.
Happy Tour travel agency is in the GED Capital portfolio since December 2007, when the Spanish investment fund acquired Happy Tour company. In 2011 Happy Tour Group had a turnover of over 57 million euro and the estimated turnover for 2012 is of 70 million euro.
