In February and March this year, we conducted a detailed study for our new client, the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, destined to offer valuable insights about Romanians’ perception over Serbia as a travel destination.
The market research involved conceiving and conducting a qualitative survey for over 20 travel agencies in Romania, including all of the agencies selling holiday packages in Serbia and some of those who do not have Serbia in their portfolio.
Travel agents responded to questions about Romanian tourists’ travel preferences, about their own views regarding Serbia as a holiday destination and were asked to give suggestions about how Serbia should promote itself on the Romanian market.
The results were then analyzed, interpreted and the conclusions were presented to the National Tourism Organization of Serbia in a concise, approachable format. Moreover, we came up with ideas of promoting Serbia in the near future, based on the insights we had from the survey.
We are confident that the study will have a great impact on Romanians’ perception over Serbia as a travel destination and we are glad to have been part of this important transformation in Serbia’s tourism sector.
The National Tourism Organization of Serbia is a public organization whose purpose is to contribute to developing Serbia’s image as an attractive and accessible travel destination, with multiple leisure possibilities: from holidays in the nature and city-breaks to festivals and traditional fairs. The Bureau in Romania promotes travel destinations in Serbia, but also other projects together with their partners.
