After so many online events, on a lovely Thursday evening back in September we had the honor to attend the Forbes Women Gala, the first live and in-person event since the pandemic started. Forbes Women Gala was all about quality people and quality time, its main purpose being the celebration and recognition of successful Romanian women, who are authentic, strong role models of Romanian society in business, philanthropy and education.
Apart from the “collection” of amazing Romanian ladies, Forbes magazine also acknowledged top brands that are empowering women. Among brands such as Nespresso, BMW Romania, Carrefour or Teilor, we were happy to receive the award for “the Best Women Holiday Destination” for the Israel Ministry of Tourism.
Israel is a balance between history and contemporary, the perfect combination of exotic and archeological sites, cool culture and parties, 14 km of Blue Flag beaches and thousands of places of worship. The award comes as a confirmation to the fact that Israel is a perfect destination for women travelers, even solo-travelers, a safe destination, ideal for relaxation and pampering, whether we are talking about the Dead Sea SPAs, chic streets or famous restaurants.
A small country, with average annual temperatures of 20-25 degrees, where tourists can discover the most diverse places and activities – TEL AVIV, the capital of contrasts, the historic city of JERUSALEM, the selenium landscapes of the DEAD SEA or the atypical NEGEV desert, where Yoga Arava also takes place, an outdoor event dedicated to yoga enthusiasts.

On behalf of the State of Israel, the Ministry of Tourism of Israel we thank again to our friends from Forbes for this award and we promise that we will continue to put all our efforts in order for Israel tourism to continue to grow once the travel restrictions are lifted.
We hope that by the end of the year we will be able to wander again the lovely streets of Israel. Fingers crossed & stay safe!
