Last week, we had the pleasure to organize an event for our newest client, MoneyGram International. The purpose of the event was to celebrate having reached over 3,500 locations and the opening of a new office in Romania.
On the 14th of October, at around 3 pm, the recently opened MoneyGram office in Bucharest was crowded with over 30 media representatives, including written and online press journalists, as well as bloggers. The proposed topics were received with enthousiasm by the main Romanian TV stations, so we were happy to be accompanied by the only channel affiliated to CNN, Antena 3, and by the national television, TVR. Both TV stations also broadcast in Romanian diaspora communities.
The office, designed in a futuristic style, with modern furniture, large windows and airy chambers, served now as a conference hall, but also as a networking space. We provided tasty snacks and candy pops for all the guests and we made sure everyone and everything was well taken care of.
The new Senior Marketing Manager Nicoleta Visan guided the event, while W. Alexander Hoffmann, Executive Vice President for Southern Europe and Africa, Richard Meredith, Senior Regional Director for South-Eastern Europe, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey, and Radu Pojoga, Regional Director for Southeast Europe, gave short speeches, which were highly appreciated by representatives of the press.
In addition to the above mentioned, last week’s event marked the beginning of the collaboration between us and MoneyGram International. We are happy to have them as clients and are looking forward to organizing their next event in Romania!
