Digitisation, represented by new technologies, robotisation, cloud services, intelligent systems and Big data, are starting to be, for more and more companies, the main factor that contributes to the increase in efficiency of the activity that is being carried out.
This month, we organised in Ploiesti the launching event of the newly implemented project „DigiL@b-Digital Laboratory”, a training program for the improvement of digital skills for local employees and entrepreneurs, developed by the Patronage of Young Entrepreneurs in Romania in collaboration with Google Digital Workshop.
The focus was a debate on the topic of digitisation in Romania, in the presence of experts in this field; Digitisation Ambassadors, entrepreneurs or IT experts who shared insights on digital presence and its importance for the development of a business.
The debate was accompanied by a specialised exhibition with presentations of applications and innovations, robots and gadgets like: humanoid robots that could dance or do physical exercises, a harp without strings that could produce sound, a demonstration of Scribit – the robot that can draw on walls and whose drawings can be easily erased, Arduino projects, VR glasses and apps, to name a few.
We were glad to experience a full house once again, and welcome over 120 enthusiasts, of various ages, who interacted with the exhibits and addressed questions to the specialists.
