During 8 – 10 June 2014, Razvan Pascu, the GM of Travel Communication Romania, is taking part to an official visit to Madrid, together with Romanian authorities. The highlight of this visit will be the meeting with the President of the World Tourism Organization, Taleb Rifai and the Spanish tourism authorities.
The purpose of this visit is to learn and understand the key principles of tourism clusters that are successfully working in Spain and also to see how Madrid managed to attract over 500 mil euro of financing, mostly for tourism infrastructure and promotion.
Another important topic on the agenda will be discussing about the UNWTO conference in Romania, to be organized in autumn.
The Romanian delegation will be represented by the Ministry of Tourism in Romania, Mr Florin Jianu, the state secretary on matters of tourism, George Brezoi, the vice-president of the National Authority for Tourism, Mirela Matichescu and a team from the ministry.
Travel Communication Romania fully supports all efforts to promote the Romanian tourism and the growth of the tourism industry in Romania and we are proud to be part of such an important delegation. It is a great honour for Travel Communication Romania to have a representative in such a high-rank reunion and we hope to make the efforts of the Romanian tourism industry more visible at the international level.
